Harvard Training Workshop: Conflict and Negotiation in the Eurasian Sphere

HSE is hosting a one-day, interactive negotiation training workshop led by experts from the Davis Center Negotiation Task Force at Harvard University.

The Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies is the intellectual home of Harvard scholars and students with an interest in this critical region of the world. The Davis Center Negotiation Task Force promotes innovative solutions to Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security challenges by creating spaces for cross-cultural negotiation research, training, and strategic analysis.

The NTF team pioneers new models for high-impact knowledge dissemination, trains practitioners in advanced negotiation skills, ands build long-term conflict management capacity. The participants of this workshop at HSE will test and practice their negotiation skills through interactive training simulations. They will walk away with a toolkit of "Harvard method" negotiation tactics that they can use in their professional life.

The Instructors:

Alexandra Vacroux is Executive Director of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies and Lecturer on Government at Harvard University. Her scholarly work addresses many Russian and Eurasian policy issues.

Arvid Bell leads the Negotiation Task Force at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University. Arvid has taught negotiation at leading universities, including Harvard and Stanford, as well as for small groups of business leaders and government officials.
