International Round Table “Russia and India: New Horizons of Cooperation”
Russian-Indian partnership remains strong in some important niches, above all military-technical and economic cooperation. But the current state of word economy and global turbulence lead to rethinking of Russian-Indian political and economic cooperation at a crucial moment of their bilateral ties. Russia and India need to decide what they want from the connection and what the opportunities for and obstacles to this desired state of relations are.
To find new fields for collaboration and look into new perspectives of Russian-Indian relations, School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University will organize a round table “Russia and India: New Horizons of Cooperation”.
Following thematic blocks will be discussed:
- New Trends in Russian-Indian Relations
- Promising Areas of Russian-Indian Military-technical Cooperation
- Indian Pharma Companies their Place in the Russian Market
- Future of Educational and Cultural Collaboration of Russia and India
- Russia-India Cooperation at Multilateral and Minilateral Forums
- Outlook for India in the Russian Far East
