BRICS Network University at the XXII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development
Roundtable “BRICS Countries’ Approaches to International Cooperation Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic” was held on April 30th.
Members of the BRICS Network University took part in the Roundtable within the XXII April Conference that was held by the Higher School of Economics.
Participants from Brazil (Dr. Marco Rocha and Dr. Bruno De Conti, Campinas University), Russia (Dr. Artemii Kurbanov, Moscow State University) and China (Dr. Longjin Chen, Southwest University) discussed the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in their countries on economic and political development and the perspectives of collaboration within the BRICS organization.
All the participants admitted both scientific and economic potential of the BRICS as a bloc in an overcoming the crisis caused by the pandemic.
Section was moderated by the Deputy Head of the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism Anastasia Pyatachkova.
