The Forum is the most representative event in Russia dedicated to the socio-political, economic processes of Latin America, its history and culture. Well-known politicians, scientists and journalists from Ibero-American and other countries will participate in the event.

The annual ITG on Economics Meeting was held in Unicamp, Brazil.

The Center for Financial Development and Stability at Henan University (CFDS), the Beijing Normal University Business School (BNUBS), and the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town (UCT) are jointly organizing an Open Access Special Issue on “Poverty and Inequality: Evidence from the BRICS and Beyond”.

In the beginning of December 2018 4 professors from 2 partner universities – University of Cape Town and University of Campinas – visited HSE and gave several lectures to the students of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and also provided the plenary sessions on the meetings of HSE African Club and HSE Latin American Club.

The conference was organized by the South African Ministry of Higher Education and Training in association with the University of Stellenbosch. The theme of the conference was “Unlocking BRICS Universities’ Partnerships: Postgraduate Education Opportunities and Challenges”. 

The School of Economics, University of Cape Town (UCT) organized a research workshop from 3 to 4 July 2018 prior to the BRICS Network University Annual Conference.

3^rd Annual Conference of the BRICS Network University will be held from 5 to 7 July at the University of Stellenbosch

The BRICS Network University might better serve the needs of the BRICS countries than national initiatives, but members should improve coordination and mutual understanding, say experts from Brazil and Russia.
