Water Workshop of the Centre for Water Resources Research

About the Seminar

Water is one of the most valuable resources of the 21st century and, at the same time, one of the major sources of risk. Climate change, population growth, and the development of the energy and agricultural sectors are increasing pressure on water systems, while the transboundary nature of rivers makes water resources governance a structural factor in international relations and the global economy.

The Water Seminar of the Centre for Water Resources Research is designed as an international expert platform for discussing issues of water resources governance and water security on the international agenda—from economic development to international cooperation and conflict.
