Igor Makarov and Egor Muravyov Take Part in Round Table Discussion in Uzbekistan

Igor Makarov delivered a presentation titled "Contemporary Development Challenges: Climate, Water, Energy (Experience and Potential for International Cooperation)". In his address, he emphasised that, despite the significant climate and water-related challenges facing the region, Central Asian countries now have considerable opportunities to overcome these issues. These include the development of an intergovernmental climate adaptation plan and the expansion of international financing – particularly "blue" financing, through the inclusion of freshwater resources in this category.

Egor Muravyov also contributed to the discussions, addressing issues relevant to Uzbekistan such as water management and agricultural adaptation.

Participants on both sides highlighted the importance of maintaining professional ties through joint projects going forward.
