During the seminar, experts, researchers, and representatives of government bodies discussed contemporary global challenges related to climate change, as well as possible areas for cooperation in decarbonisation, adaptation, and sustainable development.
Particular attention was paid to international initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, climate finance, the diffusion of green technologies, the development of climate-resilient urban infrastructure, and the exchange of best practices between countries. The seminar sought to develop practical recommendations for shaping new approaches to climate policy and for expanding scientific and analytical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The event was held in the format of an open expert dialogue and is expected to serve as a platform for discussing prospects for further scientific collaboration and joint projects in the field of climate development.
