The keynote presentation was delivered by Daniil Agafonov, a researcher at the Centre. The seminar was moderated by Irina Strelnikova, Director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Arctic Studies.
The discussion focused on the distinctive features of the European Union’s Arctic policy at both national and supranational levels, as well as on the involvement of European Arctic and non-Arctic states in international political processes in the region. Particular attention was paid to the principal formats of scientific, technological and military cooperation, including collaboration in the space domain.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, during which the speaker addressed questions from the audience.
