The student meeting of the Faculty of WEandWP with a famous Lebanese journalist

On February 6, at the initiative of the Professor of the Department of International Relations, a meeting was held between students of the School of Oriental Studies and students of the Department of International Relations studying Arabic.

The invited guest, well-known Lebanese journalist and blogger Fadi Boudia, gave a lecture to the students on the current state of affairs in the Lebanese Republic. The lecturer focused on the attitude of Lebanese society towards the Shiite Lebanese organization Hezbollah and the situation in southern Lebanon.
In addition, Fadi Boudia outlined his point of view on the current state of Lebanese-Russian relations, stressing that a significant part of the Lebanese public would like to normalize them and abandon the anti-Russian sanctions imposed on Lebanon.
The Lebanese guest answered numerous questions from the students, who noted that the lecture was delivered in excellent Arabic literary language.
The event was held with the active support of the administration of the Faculty's School of Oriental Studies.
