The Center for African Studies will present at SPIEF the third edition of the expert and analytical handbook Africa 2025: Prospects and Challenges with a foreword by Olusegun Obasanjo

A team of experts of the HSE Center for African Studies has prepared the third edition of the expert and analytical handbook Africa 2025: Prospects and Challenges. The foreword was written by Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria, mediator of the African Union, EAC and SADC. 

The handbook edited by Andrey Maslov, Director of the Center for African Studies, was reviewed by representatives of the expert community, business circles and African officials. Among the reviewers were representatives of the African Union, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and other respected national and regional organizations.

The book was published with the support of Innopraktika company.

The foreword was written by Olusegun Obasanjo, a Nigerian politician, former President of Nigeria (1976-1979 and 1999-2007), former Chairman (2004-2006), and now Mediator of the African Union, the East African Community (EAC) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

The presentation of the handbook is expected in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21, 2025, on the site of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
