Scientific and methodological support to the HSE Center fir African Studies. 

Development and monitoring of the Fundamental Research Program of the HSE Center fir African Studies in priority thematic areas.

Ensuring the Center's participation in scientific grant competitions (Russian Science Foundation, Ministry of Education and Science, HSE internal competitions).

Ensuring regular publication of the Center's research results in leading scientific journals, monitoring of staff publication activity.

Holding scientific and methodological seminars, organizing scientific conferences, round tables.

Academic cooperation with other HSE departments, leading Russian and foreign (primarily African) scientific and educational centers.

Involvement of HSE and other university students in the Center's research activities, scientific guidance of term papers, participation in the development of academic discipline plans, methodological support for Africa Track, vocational training programs, etc.
