The department’s scientific and research activities are focused on refining the theoretical foundations for the analysis and optimization of corporate and public governance systems. The methodological framework employed by the department is based on principles from Control Systems Theory and Systems Interaction Theory, ensuring continuity with the achievements of domestic technical and physical-mathematical sciences, which have demonstrated their practical alignment with leading global standards in fields such as space exploration, nuclear energy, defense industries, and other areas of activity.

The analysis and forecasting of factors determining the competitiveness of studied entities are carried out using modern modeling techniques, including VAR and DSGE models.

The applied dimension of the department’s research is concerned with enhancing corporate and sectoral competitiveness, improving management efficiency, and assessing the business environment for international companies across different regions and countries.
