About

«Avtopromimport» Foreign Trade Enterprise Department was established in 2012 as a unit of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the HSE.

The department is charged with teaching courses on public and corporate governance systems for Bachelor and Master students, managing student project activities jointly with potential employers, conducting research in the field of systems interconnectivity and modern methods of competitiveness assessment and management.

The department actively interacts with Center for Public and Corporate Governance Systems, specializing in the field of consulting services. The Center is aimed at socio-economic project development, improving methods for project management and increasing their effectiveness.

A distinguishing feature of the Department activities is maintaining close relationships with the leading companies in the machine building, chemistry industry and the energy sector. We cooperate in the field of implementing effective management solutions based on economic modelling and forecasting methods.

Objectives:

  • shaping theoretical knowledge and practical skills for students that allow them to fit in modern requirements for managerial positions in government bodies, international companies or entrepreneurship;
  • conducting research in the field of competitiveness assessment and management, providing consulting services based on the best international practices and our own designs.

Tasks:

  • development of methodology for assessing competitiveness and management effectiveness tailored for socio-economic entities and projects;
  • creating and delivering Master and supplementary vocational programs in the field of international business and international investment project management that meets the modern business needs;
  • designing and carrying out supplementary educational projects for professionals within the frames of “Competitiveness management in modern conditions” program;
  • creating a highly qualified interdisciplinary research and expert team, able to perform wide range of activities for potential investors who are planning or already implementing international projects.
