Center for African Studies will present at the SPIEF the third edition of the expert and analytical handbook Africa 2025: Prospects and Challenges with a foreword by Olusegun Obasanjo
The book, edited by Director of the Centre, Andrey Maslov, has been reviewed by representatives of the expert community, business circles, and African officials. Among the reviewers are the representatives of the African Union, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and other authoritative national and regional organizations. The Handbook was published with the support of Innopraktika company.
The foreword to the third edition was written by Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigerian statesman who served as head of state (1976–1979) and President (1999–2007) of Nigeria, as well as Chair of the African Union (2004–2006), a UN special envoy and mediator for the African Union, East African Community (EAC), and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

The presentation of the third edition is planned at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025) in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21, 2025.
