26-28 октября на площадках Института Европы РАН и НИУ ВШЭ пройдёт дискуссия по проблемам Средиземноморско-Черноморского региона (for English version scroll down)
За последнее десятилетие в этой части мира обострились внутренние и внешние противоречия. Конкуренция между новыми и старыми игроками ведётся не только на военно-политическом фланге. Средиземноморье — это арена столкновения цивилизационных проектов, представляющих собой целостные парадигмы политико-экономического развития, в которых значительную роль играет энергетика. Темпы экономического развития и долгосрочные задачи по встраиванию в региональную и мировую экономику у субрегионов Средиземноморья принципиально разные.
В ходе мероприятия будут обсуждаться влияние углеводородной, атомной, традиционной и новой зелёной энергетики на развитие обществ Средиземноморья, использование энергетической тематики в публичной дипломатии и репрезентация великих и региональных держав в этой части света.
Чтобы принять участие в дискуссии, необходимо до 15 сентября заполнить заявку, приложив тезисы объёмом 300-500 слов. Участие в конференции предполагает конкурсный отбор. По итогам мероприятия планируется издание коллективной монографии в серии «Доклады Российской академии наук».
Российские и иностранные участники в возрасте до 35 лет могут претендовать на покрытие транспортных расходов/проживания на период проведения конференции. Решение о поддержке принимается на основе конкурсного отбора тезисов.
International Scientific Conference “Russia and the Greater Mediterranean 2023. Human in the face of a new energy agenda”
26-28 October 2023 the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences and HSE University will host discussion on the problems of the Mediterranean and Black Sea region.
Over the past decade, internal and external contradictions have escalated in this part of the world. Competition between new and old players is conducted not only on the military-political flank. The Mediterranean is an arena for the clash of civilizational projects, which are integral paradigms of political and economic development, in which energy plays a significant role. The pace of economic development and long-term objectives for integration into the regional and world economy are fundamentally different for the subregions of the Mediterranean.
During the event, the impact of hydrocarbon, nuclear, traditional and new green energy on the development of Mediterranean societies, the use of energy topics in public diplomacy and the representation of great and regional powers in this part of the world will be discussed.
To take part in the discussion, it is necessary to fill in an application by September 15, attaching abstracts of 300-500 words. Participation in the conference involves competitive selection. As a result of the event, it is planned to publish a collective monograph in the series “Reports of the Russian Academy of Sciences”.
Russian and foreign participants under the age of 35 can ask for travel/accommodation coverage for the duration of the conference. The decision on financial support is made on the basis of a competitive selection of abstracts.
