The Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs invites all to the open lecture by Nikolay Ermoshkin “Is wine trade a subject worth studying at HSE?”.

In recent years, the wine trade has represented a market in excess of $ 300 billion. The number of new markets for wine is growing rapidly. The lecture will be devoted to discussing what the wine market is from a variety of points of view, what is the state of the market in Russia and whether it is worth spending time on this subject during your studies. 

Nikolay Ermoshkin - Ph.D. in Economics, author of several books, including "40 degrees East, an anatomy of vodka", Chairman of the Board of Directors, "Russian Alcohol", member of the Board of Directors, Calvados Coquerel, GK Shokoladnitsa.

Nikolay used to work for 10 years in strategic consulting (Boston Consulting Group, Cisco Systems) and in the sector of direct investment (Industrial Investors, Acmero Capital), logistics (FESCO) and new technologies (Transas). For more than 6 years he was engaged in international trade in raw materials (Louis Dreyfus) and spent 4 years in the civil service (Embassy of the Russian Federation in France).
