Professor Lukin published in The National Interest

The National Interest published an article by the Head of the Department of International Relations, Professor Alexander Lukin.

The article, entitled "How the United States Got Russia Wrong", analyses the mistakes in America's approach to Russia in the 1990's and why they still matter today. Prof. Lukin claims these errors were the result of Washington’s distorted vision of the nature of the changes Russia was undergoing at the time. The article goes on to address the consequences of this distorted vision on the subsequent development of US-Russia relations.
