The School of International Regional Studies is a research and educational centre seeking to revive international regional studies as an academic discipline in Russia. International Youth Roundtable “Russian-Pakistani relations: problems and prospects”
Although Russia-Pakistan relations are uneasy, Moscow’s “Turn to the East” opens up new horizons for dialogue between the two countries. It will embrace politics, economics, military-technical cooperation, humanitarian ties and other tracks on which the partners have underperformed so far.
The international youth round table aims to discuss the key problems of Russian-Pakistani cooperation and the prospects for its development. Young intellectuals of the two countries will present their views on and produce recommendations for measures to improve the Russian-Pakistani dialogue through the youth track.
