On October 26, Professor Olga Volosyuk met with graduates from Indonesia who graduated from the "Socioeconomic and Political Development of Modern Asia" Master's program on the sidelines of the International Jubilee Conference dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Bandung Conference.

On May 22, 2025, the School of Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, hosted an honorary lecture by Mr. Daban Shadala, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government — the official governing body of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The topic of the event was “Transformation of the Middle East Region: Key Trends and Prospects.”

On May 16, the International Round Table “Chinese Perspective on Trump's 'Revolution'” was held, organized by the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) in partnership with the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICCA RAS) and the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy (CFDP).

On April 16, 2025, as part of the Oriental Studies section of the XXV Anniversary Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a session titled “Asia and the Countries of the World Majority” was held. The session was organized by the School of Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University.

On April 17, 2025, as part of the Oriental Studies section of the XXV Anniversary Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development (YAС), the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) organized a keynote address by Archana Upadhyay, Professor at the Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

On April 15, 2025, as part of the Oriental Studies section of the XXV Anniversary Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a session titled “China and India: Global Powers of Asia” was held. The session was organized by the School of Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University.

On April 15, 2025, as part of the Oriental Studies section of the XXV Anniversary Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, the School of Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, held a session titled “Asian Countries and the Formation of a New World Order.”

On February 6, the School of Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University in collaboration with the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy and with the support of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, held an international round table titled“The Current Situation in the World and the Middle East: Key Trends and Pressing Issues.”

On December 12, Aisylu Garaeva presented a report at the 8th International Scientific and Practical Conference, focusing on the development of creative industries in the Republic of Korea through the lens of comics, highlighting their cultural and economic significance.
