The initiative of the greater Eurasian partnership put forward by Russia in 2016, along with the Chinese initiative "one Belt - one Road", is one of the most ambitious projects within the Eurasian continental space in terms of geographical coverage, potential membership and possible impact on the system of international relations. At the same time, although more than two years have passed since the official announcement of this initiative, its content remains the subject of expert and scientific discussions, both in Russia and in other countries. China is one of the main addressees and key potential partners in the implementation of this initiative, whose economic and geopolitical potential, according to many Russian experts, is intended to form the basis of the "Community Of greater Eurasia". In this context, the discussion on the Greater Eurasian partnership and the concept of "greater Eurasia" in China is no less important for the development of this project than a similar discussion in the initiator country-Russia. In the lecture of V. A. Kozyrev offers his view on the Chinese position on the great Eurasian partnership, opportunities, prospects and problems associated with the implementation of this initiative.
