Presentation of the monograph “Mexico in modern world politics” by Ekaterina Yu. Kosevich
The scientific seminar dedicated to the presentation of the individual monograph by Ekaterina Yu. Kosevich “Mexico in modern world politics” was held in the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism of HSE University on September 18.
The author of the monograph: Ekaterina Yu. Kosevich, Ph.D. in Political Science, specialist in Latin America and Research Fellow of International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism of HSE University.
In present monograph for the first time in national science an attempt was made to comprehensively analyze the key global and regional directions of Mexico's foreign policy in the context of changes in the international environment that occurred at the beginning of the 21st century.
The paper expands the existing volume of knowledge about the Latin American region, as well as the political processes taking place there.
Ekaterina Kosevich reported about the role of Mexico in modern global politics, its relationships with traditional and new partners.
The seminar was attended by the academic staff of the HSE University and the Research Fellow of Institute of Latin America of RAS A.A. Manukhin.
After the speaker’s speech, a series of questions and answers to the author of the paper took place. The audience was also given the opportunity to ask questions about the political and economic situation in modern Mexico and start a discussion.
