Georgy Kutyrev’s chapter in the collective monograph “The Future of Greater Europe. Prospects for the Development of the Macroregion”
Kutyrev Georgy, Researcher at the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, writes a chapter titled “Institutional Challenges for Security System Building in Greater Europe ” in the collective monograph “The Future of Greater Europe. Prospects for the Development of the Macroregion”.
This collective monograph presents an interdisciplinary analysis of modern processes in the space of the Greater Europe macroregion. The paper provides assessments and recommendations for identifying the most promising areas of cooperation for the countries of the Eurasian continent. The research focuses on the analysis of the current state of the region from the point of view of globalization trends and complex interaction of two integration associations: the EU and the EAEU. The economic, institutional and political aspects of regional integration as well as the development of the international security system are analyzed. The scientific project was implemented at the initiative of the Councils of Young Scientists of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and IMEMO RAS.
