Speech by A.V. Lukin in Belgrade

The Head of the Department of International Relations and Head of the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism Professor Alexander Lukin took part in the events of the annual scientific and educational program “Balkan Dialogue - 2022” organized by the Gorchakov Foundation for the Support of Public Diplomacy. On October 13, 2022, he spoke in Belgrade in the section “New Integration Models - Opportunities for the Balkans” about the development and possibilities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The program of “Balkan Dialogue - 2022” included a discussion of the geopolitical situation in the region, trade and economic activities of the Balkan countries, the formation of public opinion and political culture in the Balkans and the prospects of relations of the Balkan states with Russia in the context of their “European path”. Particular emphasis was placed on intensifying cooperation in modern conditions.
