“Vestnik of St. Petersburg State University” published an article by Alexander Lukin “Oriental Studies: the subject and prospects for development in Russia.”

The author puts forward proposals for a new approach to the subject of Oriental studies as a separate complex branch of Russian science in the context of Western attempts to “decolonize” the latter.
