Faculty Ambassador Anastasia Krayushkina performed at thePskov Pedagogical Complex

Our student of the bachelor’s programme “International Relations” within the framework of the project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” returned to her native school to tell high school students about the choice of university and the peculiarities of studying at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.

Anastasia graduated from the Pskov Pedagogical Complex in May 2021. She was led to the “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” by her desire to share her experience of entering HSE with as many high school students as possible, to debunk the myths that she herself previously believed in, and to give advice on choosing an educational track.

The student performed on April 11, 2022. Anastasia decided to hold the presentation online – this format of the event was perceived by schoolchildren and teachers as the most preferable. Many young people who considered HSE as a priority for admission joined the online conference, so this event turned out to be very timely and informative for them.

At the end of the presentation, the school students asked a lot of questions, the most popular of them:

  • Is it possible to get into HSE on a budget?
  • Is there time left for activities outside the university, given the serious workload?
  • What career opportunities open up after graduation?

Anastasia spoke about her impressions of the meeting: “I was happy to talk with the guys from my native school, to tell them about my admission experience. It was also important for me to share with high school students tips that were useful to me at the stage of passing exams and admission. It was especially pleasant to feel sincere interest in our faculty and gratitude for the up-to-date information.”

The project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” is being implemented by the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs under the guidance of Deputy Dean for Admissions and Alumni Relations Anna V. Zhikhareva.
