Dean of Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs Anastasia Likhacheva took part in the CIS and EAEU Youth Forum “Kelechek” (Future)

Dean of Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs Anastasia Likhacheva took part in the CIS and EAEU Youth Forum “Kelechek” in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic. The opening ceremony was attended by Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Anastasia Likhacheva acted as an expert and moderator of the panel discussion “The Social and Humanitarian Dimension of Integration: Prospects for the Common Scientific and Educational Space of the CIS” from the Higher School of Economics in cooperation with the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov.

Key questions of the session:

  • What is the place of integration projects in the CIS space in the system of coordinates of youth?
  • What forms of interaction are the most promising in terms of developing advanced educational systems and scientific and technical potential in order to form talented personnel in the CIS countries?
  • What areas of support for young researchers are being implemented today and will be in demand in the future?
  • What is the role of youth in the development of cooperation within the framework of integration projects in the CIS space?

  • Sergey Glazyev, Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission;
  • Almaz Kadyraliev, Rector of the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov;
  • Vladimir Pereboev, head of the Center for Integration Studies of the Eurasian Development Bank;
  • Grigory Petushkov, Chairman of the Association of Public Associations “National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia”;
  • Sergei Skriba, Vice-Rector for educational work of the Belarusian State Economic University.

Also a participant of the Youth Forum was Polina Sedlova, 3rd year student of the Bachelor’s Programme “International Relations” of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University, who won a grant for the EAEU Model project.
