7 th Annual Conference on the Global Economy

 On November 28 th -29 th Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs is holding the 7 th Annual Conference on the Global Economy. 

Its focus is directed to the major risks and uncertainties in the international economic landscape; problems that would shape the future of the global economy in the coming decade:

  • What would be the next global economic crisis?
  • Do the trade wars and expanding protectionism stop globalization?
  • Is decarbonization of the global economy is compatible with economic growth and development?
  • To which direction will the Chinese economy transform?

Conference will gather together experts affiliated with universities and think tanks from Russia, China, France, Germany, India, Korea, and Netherlands. The IMF Resident Representative in Russia Annette Kyobe will do the opening presentation, and IMF senior economist Alex Kireyev will deliver a keynote report “How to Detect and Manage Crises”
