Open Lecture “A Latin American perspective of the World”
Professors Fabiano Mielniczuk, from the department Political Sciences of the Brazilian Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRS); Ricardo Zortea, professor of the Postgraduate Program in International Political Economy at the Institute of Economics at the Brazilian Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Gabriel Merino, professor in the Institute of International Relation of the National University of La Plata (UNLP), in Argentina, will discuss the region’s role in the transition to a new world order. Is Latin America one of the emerging centers of a new multipolar system? What are the interests and interactions of the great powers in the region in matters of political, economic and military influence? These and other questions will be assessed by scholars from Russia and Latin America.
