Cooperation program between Higher School of Economics and the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies

The Center of Russian studies (now the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies) was opened in 1948 in Harvard University. It is one of the leading research and educational centers specializing in studying different aspects of Russian and Eurasian development, from culture and history to economics and politics.

Davis Center actively cooperates with the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs. For instance, ex-director (1992-2010), the head of the department of government in Harvard University professor Timothy Colton is а member of HSE International consulting committee. Professors and research scientists of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies and the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs take part in activities of the Working Group on the Future of U.S.-Russia Relations and since 2011 postgraduates of HSE and Davis Center have an opportunity to do an internship in partner universities.
