One of the main goals of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs is cooperation with leading foreign educational centres.
Aside from organization of different programmes of academic mobility and language trainings for students, cooperation with foreign institutions of higher education includes a wide spectrum of joint research projects.
Partner agreements with leading foreign research centres provide students with opportunities to improve their language skills and understand the culture and traditions of the country, while carrying out personal research in a foreign university.
Inviting prominent professors to deliver guest lectures, arranging short-term courses for the teaching staff contribute to the continuous improvement in teaching standards and the introduction of advanced methods to the faculty’s educational programmes.
The Center for Financial Development and Stability at Henan University (CFDS), the Beijing Normal University Business School (BNUBS), and the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town (UCT) are jointly organizing an Open Access Special Issue on “Poverty and Inequality: Evidence from the BRICS and Beyond”.
From January 21 to January 31, 2019 in HSE buildings on Myasnitskaya 20, Myasnitskaya 9/11 and Armenian pereulok 4 International Winter School was held. It was organized by the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.
In the beginning of December 2018 4 professors from 2 partner universities – University of Cape Town and University of Campinas – visited HSE and gave several lectures to the students of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and also provided the plenary sessions on the meetings of HSE African Club and HSE Latin American Club.

On July 8, amendments to Russian migration legislation regulating the registration of foreign citizens coming to the Russian Federation came into effect. They concern, in particular, HSE’s international employees and students. The most important change: you now must be registered at the place where you actually live.
