The impressions from an internship:University of Kiel (Germany 14-18 of December 2015)
This trip to the University of Kiel in Germany was my first experience of internship. Kiel is a small, calm town, perfect to concentrate on science.
On the 13 of December we arrived to the Hamburg airport and then moved to Kiel by a comfortable bus.
We were lucky to have our mentor able to speak German, who helped us in lots of situations.
The University of Kiel dipped us in a perfect dream with its soulful atmosphere.
Our program was excellently organized by our mentor Klochko Olga Alexandrovna and we managed to attend a variety of lectures, take part in discussions, visit a Christmas fair and go to Lubeck.
During the trip we visited Kiel’s Chamber of Commerce and listened to the lecture of Kirill Ulitskiy – the research scientist of the Chamber’s department of foreign affairs.
The best memories from this trip were connected with the experience of studying in a European university, learning different points of views on current world issues, attending lections of famous European professors, having the amazing feeling of being a European student, meeting new people who widened our horizons!
P.S. I would like to thank Klochko Olga Alexandrovna for priceless help and professionalism!
