I believe that every student of the HSE should take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to go on internship in a foreign University. This, by the way, was one of my main arguments for admission here. So I quite deliberately decided to go for a semester in Germany on the third course, at the Ludwig-Maximillians Universitaet in Munich.

Overall, I liked this experience, I find it useful and can confidently recommend the doubters not to doubt – and just to go :) First, it is always interesting to look at the learning process in another country, then your own process of studying starts to look different. By the way, everything is not all better abroad, and it is necessary to live there a while to understand this. Secondly, it's a great way to make friends from different parts of the world and to understand their way of thinking. I mostly made friends with the Spaniards. And thirdly, it's such a great journey! When you change the environment and the conditions around you, you begin to understand yourself better.
