The School of International Regional Studies is a research and educational centre seeking to revive international regional studies as an academic discipline in Russia. International Round Table “The situation in the World and in the Middle East today: the main trends and urgent problems”
The Round Table will be chaired by Prof. Sergey Karaganov, Academic Supervisor of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University and Honorary Chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy.
The keynote speaker of the event is Alastair Crooke, a British diplomat, founder, and director of the non-governmental organization Conflicts Forum. Members of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy will also take part in the discussion.
