School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs invites everyone interested to participate in the Open Seminar “Regional Origins of India’s Economic Development ”. The seminar will be conducted on Friday, December 1, 2023, by Dr. T.G. Sureshfrom Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Dr. T.G. Suresh - PhD, Professor of the Centre for Political Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi, India). Fulbright – Nehru Visiting Scholar, South Asia Program, Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies. Visiting Research Fellow, Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, Singapore. Visiting Scholar, Institute of Economics, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai, China, Visiting Scholar, Institute of South Asian Studies, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. He participated in the Research Project, “Social Security Reforms and their Implications for Urban Informal Employment in India and China: A Comparative Study”. Dr. T.G.Suresh  authored numerous of articles and books on economics, business and cooperation between India, China and Asian countries.
