The School of International Regional Studies is a research and educational centre seeking to revive international regional studies as an academic discipline in Russia. Round Table “The impact of global and regional transformations on the development of Western and non-Western societies: History and Modernity”
Young Scholars from various leading universities, including the HSE University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, MGIMO University, as well as GAUGN took part in the Roundtable as speakers. The round table was moderated by Nubara Kuliyeva, Research-assistant at Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies, HSE University.
The issues of both regional development (MENA, the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the Eastern Mediterranean) and global interaction (issues of international cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space, etc.) were highlighted within the framework of the Roundtable.
