Round Table “The impact of global and regional transformations on the development of Western and non-Western societies: History and Modernity”

On December 2, 2022, within the framework of the 4th International Conference “The world majority in the contemporary international realities: from fragmentation to new institutionalization”, a Roundtable for Young Scholars on the topic “The impact of global and regional transformations on the development of Western and non-Western societies: History and Modernity” was held. The event was organized by the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University.

Young Scholars from various leading universities, including the HSE University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, MGIMO University, as well as GAUGN took part in the Roundtable as speakers. The round table was moderated by Nubara Kuliyeva, Research-assistant at Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies, HSE University. 

The issues of both regional development (MENA, the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the Eastern Mediterranean) and global interaction (issues of international cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space, etc.) were highlighted within the framework of the Roundtable.
