The World Economy and International Affairs faculty is a research and education centre focusing on the global economy, international relations, and oriental studies. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to the subjects allows the Faculty to reflect their real-life interdependence. Economists receive basic understanding of international relations, culture, and people's value systems. International Relations specialists benefit from an introduction to economics and applied mathematics. Both groups graduate from the BA course with a good grasp of two foreign languages. Asian Studies students not only study the languages and cultures of Asia, but also the economics, politics and entrepreneurial culture of the region.

The student performed at the school on May 6, 2022 in front of students in grades 10-11. They listened to the presentation with great interest and asked many questions about admission and study at the HSE. The most popular of them:
The students also showed great interest in the educational programs "International Relations" and “Asian and African Studies”.
Alexander shared his impressions of the performance: “I was sincerely glad of the interest shown by the high school students. On the one hand, they simply glowed with enthusiasm, but on the other hand, they remained serious about the information prepared for them. Now they have an important stage in their lives: passing the exam and admission. I really admire their curiosity, activity, and approach to overcoming problems. I knew many of them when I was still at the gymnasium, now they have matured completely, ready to face adult life. I hope I helped them deal with all the questions that they had, and managed to interest them in entering the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics.”
The project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” is being implemented by the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs under the guidance of Deputy Dean for Admissions and Alumni Relations Anna V. Zhikhareva.
