The World Economy and International Affairs faculty is a research and education centre focusing on the global economy, international relations, and oriental studies. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to the subjects allows the Faculty to reflect their real-life interdependence. Economists receive basic understanding of international relations, culture, and people's value systems. International Relations specialists benefit from an introduction to economics and applied mathematics. Both groups graduate from the BA course with a good grasp of two foreign languages. Asian Studies students not only study the languages and cultures of Asia, but also the economics, politics and entrepreneurial culture of the region.

Vitaliy finished school in the village of Belyaninovo in 2020. The desire to share his experience of entering the Higher School of Economics led him to the project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022”. There are many talented children studying at school №29, so the student wanted to give them the opportunity to learn more about studying at our faculty.
Vitaliy performed at school on February 18, 2022 in front of students in grades 9-10. The high school students asked a lot of questions, the most popular of them:
The student spoke about his impressions of the meeting: “I was happy to return to the place where I spent 11 years of my life. It was important for me to share with high school students the tips that were useful to me before entering. The guys shared their plans and dreams for the future. I look forward to seeing them at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs”.
The project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” is being implemented by the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs under the guidance of Deputy Dean for Admissions and Alumni Relations Anna V. Zhikhareva.
