HSE University and Innopraktika signed an agreement on the joint projects to share experience with African countries

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Nikita Anisimov, Rector of the HSE University, and Natalia Popova, First Deputy CEO of Innopraktika, signed an agreement on strategic cooperation.

The parties plan to provide projects on sharing experience in e-governance with African countries, establish scientific and research ties with African organizations, work with African educational institutions, government agencies and development entities, and train personnel in Russia to work in African countries.

One of the key areas of cooperation is the continuation of the E-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program for African officials. The Program serves as the part of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Action Plan for 2023-2026.

“For us, cooperation with Innopraktika is of strategic importance: for several years we have been jointly supporting Russian projects in African countries, and within the signed agreement we plan to expand cooperation by adding new thematic areas of sharing experience, education, and training programs,” commented Andrey Maslov, Director of the Center and coordinator of the Program.

“Today, both Russia and many other countries have a need to continue to actively develop and use their own digital technologies, as well as to share experience in this field. The program we are implementing together with our colleagues from the HSE Center for African Studies allows us to strengthen and develop bilateral relations with African countries in the field of knowledge sharing in e-governance. I am sure that this agreement will allow our cooperation to reach a new level, and in the future - to scale similar practices in other areas,” said Anastasia Pavlenko, Deputy Executive Director and Director of Strategic Partnerships at Innopraktika
