Business and commerce during the coronavirus lockdown

Russian postdoc of School of Foreign Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs National research University Higher School of Economics, PhD in Law, associate professor Irina Strelnikova successfully took part as a guest lecturer at the First Winter School in Political Economy, held from 4 to 18 February 2021 at Allameh Tabataba'i University in partnership with Universities from Iran and Russia. 

Within the framework of the event, topical issues of the impact of COVID-19 on the economy, logistics and international business were discussed. During the lecture, the main key points and problematic aspects of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on international commercial contracts and international business were revealed through the prism of international law, EU law and national legislation and law enforcement practice of leading foreign countries; various legal instruments and legal mechanisms to reduce commercial risks to business caused by the inability to perform international commercial contracts in connection with COVID-19 were proposed and analyzed.
