The School of International Regional Studies is a research and educational centre seeking to revive international regional studies as an academic discipline in Russia. On May 25, 2021 the final international on-line conference within the framework of the international student research project "Youth Aspirations in regional studies: Economics and law of the European Union and its member States", implemented by the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, National Research University Higher School of Economics under the supervision of the head of School of International Regional Studies, Vera Vishnyakova, and a Russian postdoc of School of International Regional Studies Irina Strelnikova, in cooperation with the Lithuanian Business University of applied Sciences, was held in the format of the Zoom conference.
The participants of this international project successfully made presentations and reports on the results of their scientific research.
As a result, most of the project participants were able not only to successfully make a report at the final conference on various economic and legal topics related to the EU and EU member states, but also to gain experience in public speaking at the XVIIIth Methodical International Students’ Scientific – Conference «Academic Aspirations Of Youth: Insights In Economy, Management» held at the Lithuanian Business University of applied Sciences in April 2021 and to publish their articles in the Proceedings of this conference.
