Online Seminar “Israel in a period of transformation and radicalization: war is inevitable?”

Within the framework of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University, in partnership with the Russian Middle East Association, held an honorary lecture by British diplomat, founder and director of the Conflicts Forum NGO Dr. Alastair Crooke on the topic “Israel in a period of transformation and radicalization: war is inevitable?”

The lecture was moderated by Professor Andrey Baklanov, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Studies Section of the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University. 

Dr. Alastair Crooke outlined the features of current events in Israel's domestic and foreign policy, and analyzed the main trends in the socio-political development of the country. As a result of the lecture, a question-and-answer session was organized, within which the listeners were able to find answers to their questions.
