Round table “Russia and Iran on the path to a new world order”

On April 26, the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics of the HSE University, together with Allameh Tabatabai University, held an international round table “Russia and Iran on the path to a new world order.”

The event was moderated by the President of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and visiting lecturer of the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics of the HSE University M. Sadygzade.

S. Shukuhi, Head of the Department of Regional Studies at Allameh Tabatabai University, took part as experts at the round table; S. Seyedi Asl, Researcher at the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics of the HSE University; A. Kuznetsov, visiting lecturer at the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics of the HSE University; A. Bogacheva, Junior Researcher at the Innovation Policy Sector of the IMEMO RAS.

The round table discussion began with a speech by A. Baklanov, professor of the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics of the HSE University, who noted the importance of Russian-Iranian relations and their role in the formation of new rules of the world economic and political order.

The event highlighted the importance of international dialogue and cooperation to stabilize and strengthen global security and economic development. The round table participants agreed on the need to continue discussions of Russian-Iranian relations, which contributes to better understanding and interaction in the international arena.
