Faculty Ambassador Veliyeva Narmin performed at the “Gymnasium named after I.S. Nikitin“ (Voronezh)

Our student of the bachelor’s programme “World Economy” within the framework of the project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” returned to school to share her impressions of student life and tell high school students about the benefits of studying at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.

Narmin graduated from the gymnasium in 2021. She was led to the “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” by her desire to tell high school students about the peculiarities of studying at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. During her studies at the school, meetings with graduates were rarely held, so for Narmin it was important to cheer up the school students before the upcoming exams and help them decide on the university.

The student performed at school on April 4, 2022 in front of 9th grade students. In the gymnasium, foreign languages are studied in depth, so many would like to connect their future profession with international relations.

Ninth graders asked a lot of questions, the most popular of them:

  • Is it possible to enter the budget without olympiads?
  • Can I choose any of the offered languages myself?
  • How much time should be devoted to extracurricular learning?

Narmin spoke about her impressions of the meeting: “Returning to the school walls was very touching. I was pleased to meet my teachers, to see the changes in the school and to communicate with the school students. I hope that my performance helped the guys decide on the university and the educational track.”

The project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” is being implemented by the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs under the guidance of Deputy Dean for Admissions and Alumni Relations Anna V. Zhikhareva.
