Second International Student Conference ‘Russia and Egypt: Joint Future’

On September 26th, 2016,  the 2nd International Student Conference ‘Russia and Egypt: Joint Future’ was held at HSE. The event was organized by the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Egyptian Youth National Organization. Students and doctoral students from Cairo University and several Russian universities took part in the event.

Natalia Milovantseva, Associate Professor at the School of World Economy, presented the report ‘Global Inequalities in Human Capital Formation: Provision of Pre-Primary Education Based on Data for 163 Countries’ at the international conference ‘Inequalities: Addressing the Growing Challenge for Policymakers Worldwide,’ held at the London School of Economics. The event was organized by the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management.

HSE Takes Part in Columbia’s University Consortium

On November 6, the first module of the University Consortium began at Columbia University (New York). The Consortium was formed this autumn by Columbia, Harvard, the Free University of Berlin, Oxford, the Higher School of Economics, and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Students and faculty from the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs represent HSE in the project.
