On November 28, the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University jointly with The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund held a meeting as part of the ongoing seminar “Contemporary Area Studies” with Munhoz Svartman Eduardo, professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), on the topic “Brazil's International Cooperation in the Field of Defense: Main Goals and Partners”.

On March 12, 2021 the School of Asian Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, held the conference ‘Women in The East: History, Society, Science’ for the first time.

Tenured professor Leonid Grigoryev, academic supervisor of the World Economy master programme, participated in the 6th international conference taken place on 3-4 December at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.
