On May 25, 2021 the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the Higher School of Economics invites you to a student conference to be held on the Zoom platform within the framework of the student research project "Middle East and North Africa: Water Diplomacy”.

Both throughout the world in general and in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa in particular, the problem of water scarcity is acute. It determines the prospects of this business area in the region along with the oil and gas market.  This conference is the testing of the results of scientific and applied research on water resources in the Middle East and North Africa region.  As part of the student project the participants listened to a course of lectures from HSE teachers, experts from the Russian Ecological Society and conducted independent research with the preparation of the reports that will be presented at the conference.
