Dr. Solodkova and Dr. Olga Kharina at the Asian Festival 'Asian Flavor: From Riyadh to Tokyo'

Dr. Olga Solodkova and Dr. Olga Kharina participated in the Festival within the framework of the Indian line and organized a number of events dedicated to India.

On February 9, the HSE Cultural Center hosted the Asian Festival 'Asian Flavor: From Riyadh to Tokyo', which was attended by several thousand students, professors from HSE and other organizations and universities.

The festival recreated the atmosphere of Asian countries. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail: from the presented national treats to traditional costumes. The Festival included various master classes, fascinating lectures, cosplay and k-pop random dance, as well as tea ceremonies.

Associate Professor Dr. Olga Solodkova gave a lecture 'Incredible India: history, religion and culture' and talked about why India attracts with its civilizational heritage. Then the program was followed by an Indian tea ceremony with traditional masala tea and authentic Indian sweets, and a gala concert was the enchanting end of the Festival in which the famous dance group 'Amritsar Project' took part from the Indian side.

The festival was large-scale and very bright, and it promises to be an annual one. Thank you for organizing the HSE Korean Club and we will be glad to see you again next year!
