Georgy Kutyrev took part in the XIX International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students and Postgraduates “Russia and the World in the Era of Digitalization”

On December 10, 2020, Kutyrev Georgy, Researcher at the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, spoke on the topic:  “Infomedia and the distribution of “fake news” in the modern information space” during the International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students and Postgraduates “Russia and the World in the Era of Digitalization” that was held by Moscow Witte University.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), we’re not only going through an epidemic, but also an “infodemic” – “an over-abundance of information – some accurate and some not – that makes it hard for people to find trustworthy sources and reliable guidance when they need it”. In his report Georgy Kutyrev discussed this phenomenon.
