The 5th day of the School occurred to be the RIC day – the participants listened to 4 speakers from India, China and Russia:
- Yang Cheng, Professor of Shanghai International Studies University presented the topic “The Challenges of Illiberal World Order to The World Economy and Politics”, in which he discussed the factors influenced global security culture (since the end of the Cold War and collapse of the Soviet Union)
- Nandan Unnikrishnan is one of India’s leading experts on the India-Russia relations, Honorary Research Fellow of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), and Andrey Sushentsov, Russian political scientist, specialist in American studies, discussed with the participants the topic “The Strategies of Non-Alignment” and made some conclusions about the countries conduct during different conflict situations. The discussion was moderated by Alexey Kupriyanov, Senior Researcher of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of Russian Academy of Science (IMEMO RAS)
- Viktoria Panova, Deputy Executive Director of the National Committee for BRICS Research presented the topic “International Institutions: Between Cooperation and National Interests”, in which she shared her thoughts about the current work of international institutions.
