On Saturday, December 28th, within the framework of the on-going online seminar “Contemporary Area Studies” the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University organized a discussion with Ramezan Ali Marvi, Assistant Professor of Economics, Allame Tabatab'i University, on the theme “Russia and Iran: Islamic Finance and Energy Cooperation”.
On December 8, 2020, within the framework of the permanent online project “It’s worth talking about”, online meeting was held withAndrey Baklanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, the State adviser of the Russian Federation of the first class, the Head of the research sector of the Middle East and North Africa of the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE. The theme of the meeting was “Turkey: opponent or partner?”
On Tuesday, December 1, the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University, within the framework of the on-going online seminar “Contemporary Area Studies” organized a discussion with the lecturer of the Faculty of International Relations of the Prague University of Economics, a consultant on intercultural management, Vadim Semenenko on the theme “Expansion Russian Business to Europe: Cultural and Political Constraints”.

On November 18, within the framework of the permanent online project “It’s worth talking about”, in which leading regional experts discuss current problems with students, the eighth online meeting was held withAndrey Baklanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, the current state adviser of the Russian Federation of the first class, the head of the research sector of the Middle East and North Africa of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE.
On Tuesday, November 17, the Department of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University, within the framework of the permanent online seminar “Contemporary Area Studies”, organized a discussion with a researcher at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation Mekhti Mekhtiyev on the topic “Multipolar Currency World”.
